Me on me: I realized I loved photography almost by accident… (pause, this sounds so pretentious, just know I want to hear about YOU and work with YOU to create amazing images. Unpause) I was studying web design in college but took Photo 101 on a whim, and… found my passion. I switched majors to study everything photography! Film cameras were still the norm then, but by the time I did my first wedding I was shooting a mix of digital and Medium Format. Over the years (15) I’ve found ways to mimic the look of film, and you’ll find my style to be journalistic as well as soft and expressive. I believe in movement, energy, authenticity and romance.

I love marriage so much that I’ve done it a few times, and most of the time now I’m now either hiking or photographing- solo. Elopements, engagements and weddings are my very favorite, and primarily all I photograph.
