Old as your mom
but more like your aunt
Lacey Renae Photography highlights nature as art, incorporating elements of leaves, flowers, and light to set mood and highlight moments with clients across the region.
in other words, I have an eye for taking pretty pictures of pretty people in pretty places.
me: I love art. Pointillism, abstract, the play of light and drama. I’m irreverent and philosophical and maybe paradoxical, sometimes. My favorite quote at the moment is “The universe is made of stories, not of atoms. ~Rukeyser.” I love poetry.. I have an English degree although I began college in a 2 year photo program in Spokane, Washington. If I were an animal, I’d want to be a lithe gazelle. If I were a dessert, I’d want to be key lime pie covered in a dark chocolate shell. If granted another life, I’d like to be a tree on a healthy planet. My children are grown, I do as I please, more of a cat person (but I wont be tied down that way so I don’t, actually, have a pet). I volunteer sometimes. I think I’m funny. I sing, act, draw, hike, and avoid eating meat.
I’m at the midlife of my photography career: 15 years. WOAH. Working with me goes like this: walk, pose, walk, laugh, talk. I spend a lot of time looking around and shooting random things which help tell the story. That’s all I want to do is tell a story.
I do portraits, events, weddings, corporate, photojournalism, creative, commission, lessons, product, photoshop, graphic design, photo restoration.
I’m pretty lucky. And I also love hearing stories (if you couldn’t guess)— reach out to me so I can help tell yours. firstname.lastname@example.org.
