I try SO hard to do each session differently, so each family will have an image that’s just their own. I admit, sometimes it takes longer to bond with people (especially some little kids! I feel like adults can fake smile all day long but not kids! They are either liking you or they aren’t, and you will see that! haha). What I would like to say is that I got something good from all the kids present, although not always all at the same time (commence photoshopping in 3..2…1…..). I love what I do.. and I also enjoyed between the mini-shoots at the Arboretum, scoping out how other photographers do things. The number one mistake I made in the first 10 years in this business is pretending I know everything. I’m now on a mission (these last four or so) to learn more! So… with the little little little ones… I need some silly jokes, games, and also maybe a toy that makes noises that someone can wiggle for attention. That being said, I also like some of the more serious looks I got from some kids.. none of which I am sharing here today.
Anyway, one from each mini-session recently. Hoping to plan another mini-session day this year. Email me if you’d like to be added to that calendar.
And if you missed day 1, it’s here.
